Good morning everyone!! I hope that all of you weekend and so-on was successful!
YAY to the Ravens! ;)

Starting TOMORROW (Feb. 5th) I will begin the "20 lbs. in 10 days Challenge."

- Oct. 30, 2009 - Is it really possible to lose 20 pounds in 10 days? You might not think so, but losing pounds and inches so quickly does have its hazards. You should plan on losing pounds with an eye toward keeping your health, stamina and sanity intact.

Losing 20 pounds is a big step for most anyone, but it's sad but true that many of us are at least 20 pounds overweight and need to be losing weight now. But the first step toward a healthy way to lose weight is to master the diet mental game.

First, prepare yourself to lose weight with the right mental attitude. Work the diet over your mind carefully, picturing yourself as a person who can successfully lose weight. The mental part of diets can't be under-estimated. You will be a person who can lose pounds and inches; your will look good, feel better and are no longer someone who cannot lose weight.

You will need a powerful diet to achieve this 20 pound goal. You can't lose weight without dieting, and you'll need a bit of exercise, too. So here are some diet suggestions, choose your diet based on your motivation to lose weight:

1. Calorie shifting; this is a hot method that is working like gangbusters for many successful dieters. You eat different foods on alternate days - this 'tricks' your body's metabolism and makes you burn calories much faster than normal. This may be your best choice to lose the 20 pounds in 10 days.

2. Low carb diets; you've read about this one for the past several years. This diet proposes that high sugar and processed carbs are the enemy, and first pushes your body to ketosis, then you come down and begin to lose weight rapidly.

3. Traditional low-fat diets; these are the ones the medical community have been behind for many years. Basically, you eat less red meat, use fats sparingly and eat a balanced combination of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. This is not a quick diet, however.

Get your mind right - master the mental game of dieting - picture yourself thin. Then choose your weapon diet and give it everything your have for 10 days. You can lose 20 pounds - it is possible if you choose a good diet and have the right mental attitude.

I did LOTS of research on it, and found it challenging, but quite easy!
And it really fell-into-place for me! I'll be going to meet my favorite singer in exactly 11 days. haha! So starting TOMORROW- I'm doing this!
